Legendary actor John Saxon passed away on Saturday. He was 83 years old.
John Saxon is possibly best known to horror fans as Nancy’s dad in the A Nightmare on Elm Street series, appearing in the first, third, and final installment of the series. He acted in countless other horror classics like Black Christmas and Tenebrae (making a cameo in From Dusk Till Dawn), establishing himself as a horror icon. He had a career that spanned over fifty years and spanned just about every genre across television and film, including an iconic role in Bruce Lee’s Enter the Dragon.
John always had a seriousness and commitment he brought to any role, no matter the budget or subject matter. His signature hard-stare and deep voice added a little class to every picture… even if it was Cannibal Apocalypse.

Ok, fine, you probably just wanted to watch him fight Bolo Yeung
