As if this remake season would start with any other film but the classic The Parent Trap from 1961. We finally pay attention to the plot from a critical lens, and boy, does EVERYone here need therapy! We talk accents, hair cuts, practical effects, earworm songs written by two brothers who could only write bangers, and all kinds of glop. Stick around, dear hearts, and maybe we’ll drop your name once we’re 30 minutes in.
